Dr. Evans is double-boarded in Adult and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.  He is a licensed psychoanalyst and serves as faculty at the Oregon Psychoanalytic Center. 

 

Dr. Evans earned his undergraduate degree in Systems Neuroscience at The Johns Hopkins University and completed his medical training at Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU). 

 

Prior to becoming an outpatient psychiatrist, Dr. Evans conducted neuroscientific and mental health research at the Athinoula A. Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging, the National Institutes of Mental Health, the Kennedy Krieger Institute, and OHSU.  

 

Dr. Evans has served on the Board of Directors for the Oregon Medical Association and the Medical Society of Metropolitan Portland.
